Melchor Perusquia, founder and chairman of the board of NuVue Lighting, announced the appointment of Jason E. Romero as chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Mr. Romero is the founder of several companies which specialize in addressing the social needs of the community providing over 400 jobs with services ranging from healthcare and training for the disabled to in-home senior care. He is a board advisor to Millenium Real Estate, Inc., whose innovative “Smart Buildings” are fast becoming the benchmark in the commercial real estate industry. For the last three years, Inc. Magazine has recognized him as the founder of one of the top 100 fastest growing health companies in America.
